Join Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity and Lakeland Veterans Center as we honor our local
Veterans. A 5K run and 1 mile walk around the Lakeland Community College Campus on
Armed Forces Day.

After the run, stop by the Veterans Resources Fair with local organizations providing info and
resources for Veterans and families. Everyone is welcome!

Race Time:

• 9 am start for 5K

• 9:15 start for 1 Mile

Run Awards and Refreshments: 10:30 am

Resource Fair: 9:30 am-12:00 pm

Location: Lakeland Community College, H Building

Packet pickup: 

• Friday, May 16, 2025, from 12 pm to 4 pm at the ReStore, 34225 Vine Street,
  Eastlake

• Saturday, May 17, 2025 (race day) starting at 7:00 am, Building H, Lakeland
  Community College

It’s more than just a run!

• Veterans Resource Fair is open to everyone.

•  Resources and information about services and programs will be distributed by area community organizations and businesses for our honored veterans, their families, and everyone who races or wants to drop by.

 

All proceeds will go to support critical home repairs for Veterans in Lake and Geauga Counties.
